We've tried to take some of the questions that people ask a lot and present the answers here so you don't have to wait for us to answer. We've separated the questions by general category. If you don't see the answer to your question, just ask!

General

  • How do I order?
    • Go the contact page and send us an email with your chapter's size, domain name, organization name, and we'll get started.
  • How long does it take for my site to get setup?
    • After we have confirmed your order, your site should be setup for you to start editing within 24 hours.
  • Can anyone see the password I use to login?
    • Nope.

Chapter Functions

  • What role do I play in the design of my website?
    • You get to tell us what you want in a design, and we'll make it for you. If you want to provide is with a template to customize, you can do that too. You can be as active or passive with regards to the design as you want. (Preferably active)
  • Are you a Greek Licensed vendor?
    • Not yet, but we're working on it.
  • What happens when I graduate? Do we lose our website?
    • No, just let us know and we will change the key-contact person to whoever you'd like.
  • We already have a website. Can we keep our domain name and content?
    • Yes. Just let us know what your domain currently is, and we'll tell you where to adjust your nameservers to. Our system should make it extremely easy to migrate any content you had on your old website. If you need any assistance, just contact us and let us know.
  • Do you provide PayPal integration for donations, dues, etc.?
    • Not yet, but we're working on it.

Administration

  • Can multiple people be in charge of editing certain portions of the site?
    • Yes, we have a complex Access Control Layer (ACL) that allows you to assign different members different levels of access within our custom control panel. You will be able to edit anything, but you can definitely make it so that one of your members is in charge of posting news or adding photo galleries.
  • How much control does the administrator have?
    • You can pretty much edit any part of your website.
  • Do I need to know HTML or any programming languages?
    • Nope. If you do, you can certainly use it though.
  • What if I need help with something?

Alumni

  • Can alumni register on my site?
    • Yes. When alumni register, they appear in the "Alumni Sandbox" section of the control panel. At this point, their account is not yet active. You have to mainly activate alumni accounts. This is to prevent non-alumni from registering. It is your responsibility for verifying that registrations are indeed members of your chapter.
  • Can alumni participate in the interactive portions of my site?
    • Yes. They will have the same abilities as your active members.

Pricing/Contracts

  • How can you charge less than your competition?
    • We believe that we designed a great product, but great products don't necessarily have to be the most expensive. We've analyzed our costs and think we've come up with a good price point for our product.
  • Can I signup for more than a month-to-month contract?
    • Sure! As mentioned on our pricing page, you can sign up for a year or two years and get a 10% or 15% discount, respectively
