It's important to know that ANY member of your chapter (that you give permission to) will be able to help you build and mange your website. Give one user permission to upload photos and another permission to post news articles. You don't have to be the sole-proprietor of your website.

 

Content & Pages

Any good web developer will tell you, "Content is key." What good is a great-looking website if there's no useful content for the site's visitors?

You can create as many pages as you want to tell your visitors about your organization. Creating and editing your pages is as simple as using Microsoft Word or sending an email.

 

Photo Galleries

Organize photos into galleries and present them to your visitors. Based on our statistics, these are probably the most-visited sections of our chapter websites.

It's easy to upload as many pictures as you want, and they are presented in a really nice gallery (like this one!) on your website.

 

Organize It

Chaptercore features a really cool menu editor where you can quickly define your site's menu. Your menu can have multiple levels (e.g. "About" can have a few sub-pages like "History" and "Awards"). You can re-order all these items just be dragging them around. Again, no need to know any HTML.

 

Who's in the Chapter?

Many of your visitors will want to know who's in the chapter right now. Since all of your members will have accounts on your website anyway, it's easy for us to display an active members list. Display as much (or as little) about each member as you want, including a profile picture that they choose for themselves.

 

Officers

Other visitors will want to know who to contact for chapter relations, intramurals, parties, etc. Chaptercore provides an automatic page that lists your current officers and how to contact them.
